Logistics services

Romar's trucking division, used in conjunction with our intermodal, logistics, or warehousing divisions, offers a powerful solution to your needs.

Intermodal services
Formerly known as Trailer Train, Inc., we were a pioneering force in the early piggyback and stack-train concept days, providing reliable, cost-effective alternatives to over-the-road trucking and carload shipping. We maintain this image today and remain one of the leaders in the intermodal field.

Warehousing services
We are experts at warehousing. Romar handles a multitude of products and can offer many value-added services through our facilities. We provide state-of-the-art warehousing in many major U.S. locations, and provide various services such as transload services, distribution, consolidation, U.S. Customs Bonded Warehousing, general warehousing, container freight station and container yard services with yard storage programs available. Because of our extensive warehousing knowledge and experience in handling all types of products, you can be assured that our staff will provide you with excellent service.

Trailer Management Group

As a Pool Operator for Milestone Equipment Corporation's Optimized Pool Trailer Program for shippers, we can assist you with the rates, rental options and equipment selection that meets your individual needs. The OPT Program allows the flexibility to route shipments on any railroad, or highway without the crossover charge, demurrage penalties or many restrictions.

Convenient locations in Chicago and Joliet, Il. with access, security and equipment interchange 24 hours-7 days a week.
